With 27 themed areas, including Poinsettia Place, Reindeer Woods, Candy Cane Lane, Luminaria is not to be missed!

Below is a list of 7 reasons that Luminaria should be at the top of your holiday to-do list this year.

1. The Merry Mosaic

Your first sight of Luminaria is filled with the Grand Allée, where 6,500 programmable luminaries blanket the sweeping hill. Each one acts as a pixel in a moving picture of blooming poinsettias, flying reindeer and dynamic symbols of the season. This visually stunning experience will play to music and capture the hearts of both young and old.

2. The Tree-Topped Summit

This larger-than-life light tree towers over the entire Luminaria The tree reaches 120 feet at its highest point, and sits on a 40-foot hill. Also, it stretches out 58 feet in diameter!

3. Live Reindeer

A standing tradition at Thanksgiving Point, you will now be able to visit the live reindeer at Luminaria. Seeing these magnificent animals is a perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. The live reindeer experience features Comet (who loves kids and is known for being handsome and easy-going) and Vixen (whose special skill is magic).

4. Fire Pits and S'mores

Walking around the Ashton Gardens in the cold winter nights can get a bit chilly. Luckily, Luminaria has included reserved fire pits and delicious s’mores as an additional add-on experience. Reserve a glowing fire pit, for a group of up to eight people, and enjoy a cozy holiday treat, surround by the spectacular glow of holiday lights all around you.

6. Endless Hot Chocolate

What’s better than a warm cup of hot chocolate during the holiday season? A bottomless cup of hot chocolate! Included with the purchase of a VIP Premiere ticket, you can enjoy hot chocolate all night long, at no additional cost! Guaranteed to keep you warm as you stroll through 55-acres of the Ashton Gardens.
