Celebrate National Pollinator Week with Pollinator Power at the Butterfly Biosphere! Learn how our small but mighty pollinator friends support our ecosystem and how you have the power to help them. Join the parades, play quests, and stop by the Critter Encounter to meet some of our favorite pollinators.

 

Costume Parade and Butterfly Release: Daily at 11 am

Dress up as your favorite pollinator and join the parade to learn about our pollinators through songs. Don’t forget to stick around for the butterfly release!

Critter Encounters

10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, 6 pm

In recognition of Pollinator Week, Critter Encounters will be all about pollinators. Stop on by and learn even more about these incredible creatures!

Pollinator protector Quest

Become a pollinator protector and learn how you can help them in this fun quest, perfect for older kids and adult visitors. Find the informational signs placed throughout the exhibit gallery to help you fill in a worksheet. Once completed, visit the Pollinator Protector Station at the admissions desk to receive a prize.

Jr. Pollinator Quest

Do you have young children in your group? Help them look for the colored folders in the exhibit gallery that contain pieces of a bumblebee picture, then visit the Jr. Pollinator Quest Station to put the pieces together and color it in!
