Join us for our weekly storytelling adventure, Tales for Tots! Each week, staff will engage guests with interactive storytelling as well as movement and/or music activities that connect to the theme of the day.

Join us for our popular Melody Makers program. Led by our education staff, Melody Makers is the perfect opportunity for little kids and their adults to dance and move in a fun and friendly environment. Come see what each unique staff member has to offer with a variety of engaging songs and themes each week.

Baby Animal Days

Springtime and early summer means baby animals at the Farm! Join us in welcoming our cute new additions! Enjoy vendors and other programming on weekends.

Pollinator Power

Celebrate National Pollinator Week with Pollinator Power at the Butterfly Biosphere! Learn how our small but mighty pollinator friends support our ecosystem and how you have the power to help them. Join the parades, play quests, and stop by the Critter Encounter to meet some of our favorite pollinators.

Fairy Tale Festival

Fairies, folk tales, and forests oh my!  Thanksgiving Point’s midsummer tradition is back and the magic of fairy tales will come to life right before your eyes.

Looking for an extra-special Fairy Tale experience? The Mad Hatter is hosting an unbirthday you don’t want to miss. Enjoy gorgeous garden views, interactions with real Fairy Tale characters, delicious snacks, lemonades, and herbal teas, and FREE admission to the Fairy Tale Festival.

Utah Symphony

June 25, 2024
Doors open: 6:30 pm
Performance: 8:30 pm

Experience the transformative power of a live performance of the Utah Symphony at the awe-inspiring Waterfall Amphitheatre. Founded in 1940, the Utah Symphony is one of America’s major symphony orchestras, known internationally for its distinctive performances and recording legacy. Today, the orchestra’s 85 full-time professional musicians perform over 175 concerts each season. Bring a picnic, grab concessions or pre-order a picnic dinner. Following the performance enjoy a firework show.

The Outdoor Movie Series is back for another summer of fun at the Ashton Gardens! Bring a blanket, grab popcorn and treats from the concession stand, and enjoy unforgettable family films under the stars.

Heroes of the Ice Age

June 29, 2024

The coolest event of the summer is back at the Mountain America Museum of Ancient Life! At Heroes of the Ice Age, you’ll travel back in time to the Pleistocene Epoch, when much of the Earth was covered in glaciers. Woolly mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, and other giants roamed the planet alongside humans. Learn all about this epic epoch through fun and educational programs happening all day throughout the museum.

Freedom Celebration

July 4th, 2024
Gates Open: 4 PM
Fireworks: 10 PM

Thanksgiving Point invites you to celebrate American Independence with us at Electric Park.  Gates, concessions, and vendors at Electric Park will open at 4 pm. Bring a blanket and enjoy an evening outdoors with food and fun.
