IRS guidelines prohibit donors from receiving more than incidental benefits in return for contributions made through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). A benefit is considered more than incidental if it would reduce the donor’s charitable deduction, meaning the contribution is not fully tax-deductible.

These restrictions include benefits such as memberships and event tickets.
To remain in compliance with IRS guidelines, Thanksgiving Point is unable to provide these benefits in exchange for contributions made through a DAF. If you would like to enjoy membership or event benefits, you are welcome to make a separate contribution outside of your DAF.
