Come celebrate all the hard work of our students at the Girls in STEAM Showcase! We will be putting the spotlight on some of the hands-on activities we’ve done in Girls in STEAM as well as some of the students who have created their own games in the Coding Clubs! Included with regular venue admission.
Girls Who Code
A free program for Grades 4-12
Thanksgiving Point is proud to partner with Girls Who Code as a host site! This 12-session course meets weekly and teaches coding fundamentals in a fun and comfortable environment as your students use their creativity to build their own games!

Girls in STEAM: Makerspace Design
A Free program for Grades 5-10
In this 12-week program we will emphasize the importance of the design and engineering process while using some of the tools in our makerspace. Students will design a logo to use as the basis for learning graphic design, screen printing, laser cutting, and more!

Girls in STEAM: Science Exploration
A free program for grades 3-7
Our Science Exploration program is a 12-week club geared toward grades 3-7. Students will explore different science fields and enjoy immersive experiences in our venues. We will cover topics ranging from Entomology and Paleontology to Robotics and Engineering!
