Join other young women in learning about the incredible opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Our Girls in STEAM programs are all about helping the kids in our community utilize their natural curiosity and encouraging their interests in STEAM. Make new friends, strengthen your voice, and have some fun with hands-on, STEM-based activities!

A free program for Grades 3-5 and 6-12

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Thanksgiving Point is proud to partner with Girls Who Code as a host site! This 10-session course meets weekly and teaches coding fundamentals in a fun and comfortable environment. Girls Who Code welcomes all gender identities that want to be a part of a female-empowering environment! Registration for Spring 2023 sessions opens December 12, 2022.

Makerspace Machines

A Free program for Grades 5-10

In this 12-week program we will emphasize the importance of the design and engineering process while using some of the tools in our makerspace. They will get to use TinkerCAD with 3D printers, Adobe Illustrator with laser cutters, and get to make their own stickers with Cricut paper cutting machines.

Science Exploration

A free program for grades 3-7

Our brand new Science Exploration program is a 12-week club geared toward grades 37. Girls will explore different science fields and enjoy immersive experiences in our venues. Thanksgiving Point welcomes those who identify as female, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and others that want to be a part of a female-empowering environment!
