Take their education outside of the classroom and to one of our five immersive venues! Thanksgiving Point Field Trips involve inquiry-based science exploration and are designed with the Utah State Core Curriculum in mind.

Let us come to you! Thanksgiving Point offers free STEM-based, hands-on learning activities to third-grade and eighth-grade classrooms across Utah. Enhancing the Utah State Science Core Curriculum, these programs engage students and bring their education to life.

We value and support all educators! With professional learning experiences, tools to support Utah educators, and more, our resources help broaden your students’ minds and connect them with the natural world.

Home School and Online School Days are back! Come visit our venues on their designated days from 9 am-3 pm with a special admission price of $6 per person (or $4 for Farm Country). We will have trained educators providing unique activities for you to participate in from 9 am – 1 pm and no other field trips are scheduled for those days.

Requirements for the special rate:

-Show your state certification upon arrival at the registration table in the lobby of the venue of the day.
-If you wish to attend on a different day, view options for Discovery Field Trips.

Virtual Assemblies

Dive into the history of ancient life with Thanksgiving Point educators as your guide! Designed exclusively for educators, this virtual assembly experience allows you to bring the wonder and excitement of our five distinct venues directly to your students. Assemblies run for 45 minutes.

Join us for professional development workshops, tours, and venue visits geared towards enhancing student learning and inventive mindsets.
