Rentals are not available 90 minutes prior to closing.

Visit the Festival Market in the Waterfall Amphitheatre on Fridays and Saturdays to enjoy local crafts, goods, and treats!

Enjoy live performances from local artists in the gardens from 3-7 pm on Friday evenings and Noon-4 pm on Saturday afternoons.

The Tulip Festival has free but limited first-come-first-serve parking available. We highly recommend carpooling to limit walking distances to the Ashton Gardens Visitor Center. If you need an accessible parking spot please see our parking attendants upon arrival.

There is Preferred Parking available near the entrance for $8 per vehicle. We do not take cash, and payments must be made electronically by scanning a QR code located on signs within the parking lot.

Tickets purchased in advance are non-refundable.

The Tulip Festival is held at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens!

The Tulip Festival features 400,000 tulips imported from Holland and 550,000 other spring bulbs, like daffodils, hyacinths, English daisies, poppies, and more, that bloom for a short time. During the Tulip Festival, vendors, live music, play stations, and more festivities are also available in the Gardens, contributing to the fanfare of the season.

The Tulip Festival features over 900,000 spring plants of several different types and varieties. Over 300,000 of these bulbs are tulips in several different varieties.

Tulip Festival admission is time-ticketed and has limited capacity. We strongly advise all guests and members to pre-purchase tickets online to ensure admission. Advance purchasers do not have to wait in a large line for entry or worry about capacity.

All Tulip Festival classes, tours, and add-ons must be purchased in advance.

All-Access Passes, Curiosity Club Memberships, Every Kid Counts: Admission, complimentary passes, and military discount tickets do not require advance reservation and can obtain admission at the door.

We recommend planning 1.5-2 hours to experience the Tulip Festival.

Upgrade to include a brunch in the stunning Garden Room, where you’ll enjoy our incredible catering alongside sweeping views of the Ashton Gardens. Groups of 50 or more get a 20% discount on admission to the Tulip Festival, making this the perfect option for client or employee appreciation parties, ladies’ luncheons, bridal showers, family reunions, and so much more!

VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS

Each year, our Ashton Gardens Designers create a new Tulip Festival design, making each year wonderfully unique. Because of this, the tulip bulbs from this year’s Festival will be dug up from the gardens to make room for next year’s tulip bulbs.

After the tulip bulbs are removed from the flower beds, they are available for purchase from the Ashton Gardens. The Tulip Bulb Sale begins at the end of May. More specific information will be posted online when they’re available for purchase. Tulip bulbs from the Tulip Festival make for an amazing garden or a lovely gift for people who want a piece of the Festival in their own yards!

This offer is only available one business day after visit. 

Visitors are welcome to take snapshots (informal, non-posed photographs) for private use. Snapshots may be taken of the plants, gardens, or members of their group during their visit to Thanksgiving Point. We recommend utilizing the various photo-ops throughout the Gardens for that perfect Instagram post!

Photography sessions require the purchase of a Thanksgiving Point Photo Pass. A photography session is an event where a photographer (either amateur or professional using any device including mobile phones) takes a series of photographs of a posed subject(s) using any part of Thanksgiving Point property as a backdrop. Reservations for a personal-use photography session are REQUIRED.
