The Junior Master Gardener (JMG) program is a youth 4-H gardening program held at Thanksgiving Point. JMG engages students in hands-on group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind. Students will have the opportunity to participate in planting, care, and harvesting of the crops at Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point.

Growing Leaders is a 4-H club where teens can volunteer and learn leadership skills at Thanksgiving Point. Growing Leaders are encouraged and supported in pursuit of their individual interests and passions.

Growing Leaders meet monthly as well as volunteer in the museums throughout the month. Teens may also help with events, classes, and many other opportunities.

Applications are accepted throughout the year. The Growing Leaders program has a 25 dollar fee which can be paid HERE. Growing Leaders will also enroll in 4-H for 10 dollars.

Growing Leaders is for teens ages 13-17.

What is the Maker Program?
Thanksgiving Point is the hub of the Utah Maker Network, an affiliation of maker spaces and programs throughout the state with a goal to provide opportunities to create, innovate, and invent.

Currently we offer in-person coursework for My Tech High for ages 8-18. To register for My Tech High and get more information on our programs go to https://www.mytechhigh.com/. Makerspace Design (14-18) is open through the My Tech High Website until August 31st. All My Tech High Makerspace Junior (8-9) and Makerspace Design Foundations (10-13) classes are now filled.
