Pollinator Parade

Celebrate 2022 Pollinator Week with the Pollinator Parade at the Butterfly Biosphere! This celebration of all things pollinator takes place on June 25th from 10 AM – 2 PM.

Wear your best pollinator costume and join the parade as you fully immerse yourself in the role of a pollinator! Explore how and why insects pollinate, what they need in a healthy habitat, and how you can help them at home.

 

Costume Parade and Butterfly Release: 11 AM, 12 Noon, and 1 PM

Join the parade and learn about our pollinators through songs and take part in our butterfly release!

Bug of the Month: Pollinators

If you bring in an observation of pollinators during the month of June (National Pollinators Month), you can earn extra points!

 

How to participate in the Community Insect Collection:

  1. Simply take a picture of a bug you found in nature.
  2. Record information about when and where you found it.
  3. Bring your observations to the Butterfly Biosphere to explore it with us and gain Trading Post Points (This Trading Post is connected to the Trading Post at the Museum of Natural Curiosity so you can gain points and purchase items at both locations.)!
