Thanksgiving Point’s new summer event brings five gigantic worlds to life in the Ashton Gardens
LEHI, Utah (April 30, 2024) – Explore beyond our world at Thanksgiving Point’s new summer event – Uncharted Worlds: A Journey with Giants. From May 25 to August 24, 2024, animatronic giant insects, life-sized dinosaurs, massive sea creatures, mammoths of the Ice Age, and more will bring adventure, play, and education to the Ashton Gardens in Lehi, Utah.
Uncharted Worlds will feature five worlds with animatronic creatures, education tents, and play areas. Crawler Canyon is the insect area, where larger-than-life insects will teach kids about pollinators and the importance of insects. Two worlds, Colossal Valley and Predator Peak, will have various dinosaurs that educate about Utah’s ancient history. Shipwreck Bay will feature giant sea creatures, including a 55-foot-tall sperm whale with a 40-foot-long Giant Squid on it. The last world, Glacial Falls, will bring the Ice Age to life with various wooly creatures. Each world will have an education area with real artifacts from the past. In total, 32 creatures will entertain guests throughout the summer.
The animatronic creatures are produced by Dino Don, Inc. Dino Don, Inc produces the largest and most accurate exhibitions in the animatronic animal market. The five worlds will be placed throughout the 50-acre Ashton Gardens, where guests can navigate between each with the help of a Grail Diary.
