1. Bug Races

Location: Butterfly Biosphere
Times: Noon and 5 pm, Monday through Saturday 

Cheer on your favorite bug as it races to the finish line! In this fast-paced and fun program, kids get to observe how different species move and compete, all while learning about their biology and behavior. The Bug Races combine real science with real excitement and help kids build confidence through observation and discovery. 

2. Plant Lab

Location: Curiosity Farms – Grow Tech Gardens
Times: 11 am and 1 pm, Monday through Saturday 

Explore the future of farming in our vertical hydroponic farm units, located inside the new Grow Tech Gardens. During Plant Lab, kids will plant, grow, and harvest crops while learning about sustainability and modern agriculture. Younger children can enjoy hands-on activities that make learning about plants and food systems engaging and accessible. This program is perfect for developing curiosity and real-world problem-solving skills.

3. Bubbles and Bites

Location: Mountain America Museum of Ancient Life
Times: 1 pm, Wednesdays and Saturdays 

Watch the Alligator Gar – a fish species that dates back over 100 million years – snatch up its lunch during this exciting program. This predator feeding experience connects kids with ancient species still alive today and teaches about the food chain and animal biology. It encourages observational skills, critical thinking, and a love for science by showing how the past continues to influence the present. 

4. STEM Space

Location: Museum of Natural Curiosity – Chamber of Knowledge
Time: 5 pm, Monday through Saturday 

STEM Space offers hands-on learning in engineering, chemistry, physics, and more. Through interactive challenges and guided experiments, kids practice building, testing, and problem-solving. This program encourages resilience, creativity, and collaboration – all vital skills for thriving in and out of the classroom.
