Join other young women in learning about the incredible opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Our Girls in STEM programs are all about helping the kids in our community utilize their natural curiosity and encouraging their interests in STEM. Make new friends, strengthen your voice, and have some fun with hands-on, STEM-based activities! 

Girls in STEM at Thanksgiving Point welcomes all gender identities that want to be a part of a female-empowering environment!

Girls in STEM: Coding

A free program for Grades 4-6

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Students step into the world of video game development using beginner-friendly block coding tools. Each week builds coding confidence as students take on mini design challenges, learn core programming skills, and work toward creating their own unique game project.

Girls in STEM: Makerspace Technology Workshops

A free program for grades 5-7

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Explore your creativity through Makerspace Technology! Each month, students will dive into a new project ranging from design and laser-cutting to 3D printing and more, learning all about the tools and tech shaping the future of design and engineering.

Girls in STEM: Science Exploration

A free program for grades 3-5

Museum of Natural Curiosity

Designed to spark curiosity and confidence, Science Exploration invites young students to discover the exciting power of STEM! Students will learn about foundational science through hands-on experiments and cutting-edge technology.

Girls in STEM: Science Deep Dive

A free program for grades 6-8

Designed to build on a base science understanding, Science Deep Dive goes deeper into the world of STEM, providing lifelong skills to build a science career. Over the course of four weekly sessions, students will explore real-world STEM problems and solutions through hands-on experiments.
