Winters in Utah can be unpredictable – but when you visit Luminaria with a bit of winter weather then you’ve hit the jackpot! The lights are extra twinkly and magical. This year Thanksgiving Point is offering a ticket option that gives you the flexibility you need in case the weather is a bit too chilly and snowy for your liking.

If you purchased Exchangeable tickets to Luminaria, you will not have to pay the exchange fee to move your tickets to another day. However, if you purchased tickets to a non-premium day and want to move to a premium day, you will have to pay the difference per ticket for that upgrade. If you move from a premium day to a non-premium day, Thanksgiving Point will not issue a refund for the difference in tickets as our policy does not allow refunds.
If you purchased Non-Exchangeable tickets, you will have to pay a $10 exchange fee (per transaction) in order to exchange your tickets. Similarly, if you purchased tickets to a non-premium day and want to move to a premium day, you will have to pay the difference per ticket for that upgrade. Moving from a premium day to a non-premium day will not provide you with a refund for the ticket difference.
You’re in luck! Exchangeable tickets are the only ticket option that allows you to move your tickets to another day without paying the exchange fee. Exchangeable tickets also allow same-day changes as long as you exchange your tickets before your scheduled arrival time. Exchanges are subject to the availability of another equivalently-priced open time slot and date. Once tickets are sold out, exchanges will not be available. Please read the instructions below for information on how to exchange your tickets.

Luminaria tickets purchased in advance are non-refundable.
Exchangeable tickets: You may exchange your tickets for another available day and time as long as you exchange your tickets before your scheduled ticket time. Exchangeable tickets are the only tickets that allow same-day changes. Non-Exchangeable tickets: Unfortunately, you cannot exchange your tickets to Luminaria within 24 hours of your scheduled ticket day and time.
Tickets may be exchanged online using the “Begin Exchange” button above. After clicking the button, please select the tickets you would like to exchange.
EXCHANGEABLE TICKETS: Click the tickets you’d like to exchange, then click “Exchange Seats.” Click the drop-down menu to view available dates. After clicking the date you would like to attend, click the drop-down menu to view available times on that date. When you’re satisfied with your exchange, click submit exchange. At this point, you will be directed to the Cart Page, where the display will show you the amount due. The new tickets will show a positive balance and the old tickets will show a negative balance. If you’re switching from a weekday to a weekend, there will be a balance remaining per ticket for the upgrade. When you’re ready to exchange, click “Check Out.” Then scroll to the bottom and click “Continue.” Success, your tickets have been exchanged! You will receive an email with your receipt and another email containing your new tickets.
NON-EXCHANGEABLE TICKETS: Click the tickets you’d like to exchange, then click “Exchange Seats.” Click the drop-down menu to view available dates. After clicking the date you would like to attend, click the drop-down menu to view available times on that date. When you’re satisfied with your exchange, click submit exchange. At this point, you will be directed to the Cart Page, where the display will show you the amount due. The new tickets will show a positive balance and the old tickets will show a negative balance. If you’re switching from a weekday to a weekend, there will be a subtotal balance remaining per ticket for the upgrade. There will also be an added “Online Ticket Exchange” fee for $10. When you’re ready to exchange, click “Check Out.” Then scroll to the bottom, input your credit card information, and click “Continue.” Success, your tickets have been exchanged! You will receive an email with your receipt and another email containing your new tickets.
If, during the exchange process (before you move on to the cart page), you’d like to start over, refresh the page. If you have already added items to your cart, wait for the cart to time out and start the process again.
