YOUR OASIS IN THE DESERT

As an oasis in the desert, the Ashton Gardens features 50-acres of stately gardens, grand lawns, as well as the largest manmade waterfall in the Western Hemisphere. Come rejuvenate yourself and enjoy nature’s beauty in these secluded gardens. Stroll through the 15 themed gardens to enjoy the cascading fountains in the Italian Gardens, visit the I Am The Light Of The World sculpture garden, get a bird’s eye view of the gardens from the Vista Garden, feed the fish at Koi View Pier, and discover the Secret Garden. You can even rent golf carts, wheelchairs, or electric scooters for another way to “stroll” through the gardens. Stop at the Shop at the Gardens for a hat or souvenir on your way home.

Venga para rejuvenecer y disfrutar la naturaleza de esos jardines aislados. Pase por los 15 jardines temáticos para admirar las fuentes en los Italian Gardens, viste el nuevo jardín “I Am The Light Of The World Sculpture Garden”, vean con una vista de águilas en el Vista Garden, alimente a los peces en el Koi View Pier, y descubren el Secret Garden (Jardín Secreto). También se puede alquilar carritos de golf o Segways para otra forma de “pasear” por los jardines

Trellis Café

Se ubique en el Centro de Visitantes de los Jardines de Ashton, la Trellis Café contiene comida rica con un ambiente fresca. Un destino popular para la comida, la Trellis Café esta abierto durante la temporada de los jardines. Durante ese tiempo puede encontrar los más hermosos muebles de comedores en el patio acompañado con una presentación increíbles de tortas.

Invernadero

¿Hay algo que le llama la atención en los jardines? El Invernadero de Thanksgiving Point le ayudara encontrarlo por su casa. Encontrará floreros, cestas colgantes, plantas perennes y decoraciones para su jardín.

No se requiere boleto de admisión para entrar.

 

La tienda de los jardines

Encontrar dulces y recuerdos en la Tienda de los Jardines ubicado en el Centro de Visitantes de los Jardines de Ashton. La tienda se ofrece mercancías como tarjetas postales, playeras, suéteres, dulces y bebidas para llevar consigo en los jardines. También tenemos bloqueador si no lo llevó consigo.

  • Golf carts are available to rent in advance online or in-person. Advance reservations are subject to an additional fee, but in-person rentals are subject to availability. 
  • Electric Scooters and wheelchairs are also available to rent online or in-person. Advance reservations are subject to an additional fee, but in-person rentals are subject to availability. 
  • Advance reservations for Electric Scooters are not available during the Tulip Festival.
  • No rentals are available 90 minutes prior to closing.

Join the Secret Garden Book Club at the Ashton Gardens! Read selected books over spring, summer, and fall. After, discuss and share ideas then take those ideas out into the Ashton Gardens and put them into practice. Subscribe for the season or just for the months you can come!

Be inspired and discover a new favorite on our guided tree walk tour. Led by our garden docents, these tours are designed to showcase trees that can be incorporated into the Utah landscape. Tours leave from the back patio and are included with regular venue admission.

Mondays and Fridays, 9:30 am

During the Tulip Festival (April 9th-May 8th) Guided Garden Walks are offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Learn about Ashton Gardens, its history, and the plants within. Led by our garden docents, this walking tour takes about 1.5 hours and is included with regular venue admission. Tours depart from the back patio.

PlantSnap

As part of the American Public Gardens Association, Ashton Gardens has partnered with PlantSnap to help build the most comprehensive database of plant photos in the world by empowering garden visitors to become citizen scientists in their own communities.

PlantSnap is a simple way for everyone to play a role in protecting and saving the environment. Simply by snapping photos, visitors contribute to national and international conservation efforts and help build more resilient gardens. PlantSnap’s open source plant database features 600,000+ plants and 150 million+ plant images. The app recognizes nearly all species encountered in public gardens and is available in 37 languages.

Trellis Café

Located in the Thanksgiving Point Ashton Garden Visitor Center, the Trellis Café offers tasty cuisine with a healthy helping of breezy ambiance. A popular destination spot for those who lunch, the Trellis Café is open throughout the garden season. During that time, you'll find some of the most stunning patio dining available, accompanied by an artful array of sandwiches.

Garden Path Greenhouse

See something you like at the Ashton Gardens? The Garden Path Greenhouse is there to help you make it happen. You'll find a lush array of potted hanging baskets, annual and perennial plants, and lovely garden decor.

Located inside the Ashton Gardens.  No admission fee required to visit.

TULIP FESTIVAL 5K

Spring at Thanksgiving Point means the Tulip Festival Race Series is finally here! Dust off your running shoes and come shake off the cobwebs of winter for our Tulip Festival race. It's the one-of-a-kind 5k that actually runs through the Tulip Festival and inside the Ashton Gardens. It’s a challenging race that is equally as beautiful. Come run with us this year!

Open with regular garden season

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD GARDEN

The Light of the World garden is a two-and-a-half acre garden inside the Ashton Gardens with artwork and themed landscaping donated by the I Am the Light of the World Foundation. Created by Utah artist Angela Johnson, the garden includes a total of 15 scenes and 35 statues, with 14 scenes from the New Testament and one LDS Church-inspired scene depicting Joseph Smith’s First Vision. The sculpture garden offers guests a walk through the life and miracles of Jesus Christ and a space for quiet reflection.

Explorer Pass

See it all with an Explorer Pass! A Thanksgiving Point Explorer Pass grants admission into all five venues (Museum of Natural Curiosity, Farm County, Museum of Ancient Life, Ashton Gardens, and Butterfly Biosphere) for one day.

Museums for All

Museums for all is a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits.

With presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer card, admission is available for up to six people, at $2 per person. Available in person only. Not available for online purchases.
