Modern Prairie Watercolor painting Class
Immerse yourself in the art of the Ashton Gardens with Modern Prairie’s step-by-step watercolor painting classes! Choose from four different class options as you create stunning “quilt squares” inspired by the vibrant blooms, lush greenery, and beautiful quilts at Garden of Quilts. Whether it’s your first time picking up a brush or you’re an advanced artist, these expert-led classes will offer guidance catered to your skill level. All supplies are included – just bring your creativity and enjoy a fun, hands-on watercolor experience in a serene environment!
On Friday, explore the fundamentals of botanical watercolor painting with the Floral Quilt Square class. On Saturday, explore the fundamentals of landscape painting with the Garden Landscape Quilt Square class in “plein air” style. Each style offers a beginner and advanced class – participants who choose the advanced class should have a working knowledge and understanding of watercolor painting techniques.
