More than 100,000 new flowers make Utah’s largest flower festival bigger than ever

LEHI, Utah (March 5, 2025) – The 50-acre Ashton Gardens transform into a vibrant and aromatic springtime celebration with the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival, voted Utah’s Best Festival for seven years. From April 9 to May 17, over 900,000 spring flowers, including Dutch tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, poppies, and more create an unforgettable display of color and design. This year, the Tulip Festival will host its largest bloom yet, with nearly 100,000 more tulips and other flowers filling the gardens with seas of vivid color.

The Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival is one of the largest and most popular spring flower festivals in the nation. Alongside nearly a million flowers, the Ashton Gardens come to life with live entertainment, floral décor, interactive classes, VIP garden tours, and more. This full-sensory, all-ages experience is a must-do spring activity in Utah.

Every October, Thanksgiving Point redesigns and replants new bulbs that bloom in the spring, making each Tulip Festival a unique experience. The 2025 Tulip Festival will include over 100,000 new flowers in dozens of varieties, making it the largest Tulip Festival since its creation in 2004. Over 400,000 tulips imported from Holland and 550,000 other spring flowers bloom during the six-week festival.

This year, the Tulip Festival will feature brand-new aesthetic floral décor. Seven large, colorful topiaries in the shapes of butterflies, mushrooms, gnomes, fairies, and more will be up to nine feet tall and are scattered throughout the Ashton Gardens. Created in partnership with Modern Display, the topiaries will create a whimsical atmosphere unlike anywhere in Utah.

Additional offerings at the Tulip Festival include:

  • Tulip Festival Classes: Memorable art, fitness, and floral design classes are the perfect opportunity to discover new talents and have a day of interactive fun.
  • Tulip Festival Tours: Two insightful tours are offered at the Tulip Festival, allowing guests to go behind the scenes with a Thanksgiving Point horticulturist or docent.
  • Tulip 5k: On April 26, guests can run, walk, or jog through the Ashton Gardens at the Tulip 5k, where thousands of spring flowers guide them to the finish line.
  • NEW Buffet Brunch at the Tulip Festival: With sweet and savory all-you-can-eat delights, this brand-new experience includes admission to the Tulip Festival and a leisurely buffet brunch with views of the Ashton Gardens.
  • Spring Staycation Package: Includes an overnight stay at Home2 Suites in Lehi and untimed general admission for two to the Tulip Festival.
