Award-Winning Symphony Takes Center Stage for a Thrilling Outdoor Performance at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens on June 25

LEHI, Utah (May 28, 2024) – Thanksgiving Point is delighted to host the Utah Symphony for an evening performance on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. This outdoor performance begins at 8:30 pm and is held at the Waterfall Amphitheatre, located inside the Ashton Gardens.

The Utah Symphony has performed at Thanksgiving Point annually for 15 years. Located within the 50-acre Ashton Gardens, the Waterfall Amphitheatre serves as a unique and awe-inspiring outdoor location for this incredible group. This patriotic concert will feature beloved tunes composed by John Williams, American patriotic songs, and popular opera from the base of the largest man-made waterfall in America. The performance will conclude with an inspiring fireworks show.

The Utah Symphony, founded in 1940, is one of America’s major symphony orchestras and is known internationally for its distinctive performances and recording legacy. Today, the orchestra boasts 87 full-time, professional musicians and performs over 175 concerts each season. The Thanksgiving Point concert will be conducted by Matthew Straw, Assistant Conductor of the Utah Symphony, who has been described as “powerful and elegant” and was the youngest awardee in the history of the Solti Foundation US for its Career Assistance Award in 2022.

The Ashton Gardens will close to the public at 5 pm on Tuesday, June 25. Gates to the performance will open at 6:30 pm, and the performance will start at 8:30 pm. Guests are recommended to arrive early for the best seating options. Reserved seating and general admission tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting thanksgivingpoint.org. Guests of all ages require a ticket. Thanksgiving Point members receive a 10 percent discount on all tickets.
