The annual Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival returns to the Ashton Gardens this year from April 7 to May 13. Over 250,000 tulips and 500,000 other spring bulbs create an unforgettable display of color and design, blooming into the largest and most popular Tulip Festival in Utah.

Roses are red, violets are blue… these colors mean more than you may think they do.

Luminaria, the winter holiday tradition that brings the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of the holidays to life, returns to Thanksgiving Point for its seventh year. Luminaria is the signature holiday event at Thanksgiving Point and is Utah’s largest light display, with millions of lights and 28 themed areas showcased in the 50-acre Ashton Gardens.

Whether they are spook-ified villains like in Batman or naïve and lovable travel companions like in the Wizard of Oz, scarecrows are a staple of the autumnal harvest season.

October 7, 2022, Thanksgiving Point broke the World Record for Most Bulbs Planted by a Team in One Hour. Thanks to so many incredible volunteers and the Ashton Gardens team, we planted 41, 089 tulip bulbs.

In The Little Prince, Saint-Exupéry personifies the rose, giving her the human characteristics of vanity, insecurity, pridefulness, sensitivity, naivety, and entitlement. Though the roses here at the Ashton Gardens do not talk as Antoine’s does, they may have some similar characteristics.

Thanksgiving Point is thrilled to attempt an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for Most Flower Bulbs Planted In One Hour on Friday, October 7, at 10 am in the Ashton Gardens. 110 community volunteers, 40 staff, an official adjudicator from Guinness World Records, and more will be present to help plant spring flowers in preparation for Thanksgiving Point’s annual Tulip Festival.

The summer heat is subsiding and giving way to autumn’s chill. While we’ll miss no school pool days and picnics in the park, the fall is filled with its own treasures – including some special events in the Ashton Gardens.

Hundreds of intricate quilting designs and patterns will once again be on display during Thanksgiving Point's annual Garden of Quilts Festival, presented by Riley Blake Designs. Quilts created by artists from around the world will be showcased in the 50-acre Ashton Gardens. Special classes, shows, and demonstrations will be available throughout the week.

The Scarecrow Festival is back at Thanksgiving Point from October 10 to 15, and scarecrow submissions are now open to the public! This fall tradition combines the beautiful autumnal glow of the Ashton Gardens with a community art project – the creation of scarecrows – during the six-day festival.
